The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Viran Nigam (DHBVN) plans to keep only one toll-free number ‘18001804334’ for lodging complaints relating power supply for timely redressal, as per standards laid by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC).

Other telephone numbers provided locally for this purpose are likely to be discontinued after December 31.
A DHBVN spokesman said here on Friday that consumers could lodge their complaints related to power supply on toll free number ‘18001804334’ at the call centre from where their complaints would immediately be forwarded to the line staff concerned.

“In case the line staff concerned fails to attend the complaint in the prescribed time, it will automatically be escalated to the higher officials. The redressal of complaints, lodged through call centre, will closely be monitored by senior officers and the management,” he said.

The spokesman said consumers could also lodge complaints relating to service, billing, new connections, system improvement, etc, at the call centre, which had been instructed to entertain all sort of complaints relating to the DISCOM.

The call centre personnel will pass on the complaints other than that of ‘no power complaints’ to the DISCOM’s Computerised Grievance Redressal System (CGRS).

The consumers can also lodge their complaints directly at the CGRS on ‘dhbvn.com’ or ‘dhbvn.org.in’ in the DHBVN ambit while on ‘uhbvn.com’ in the ambit of UHBVN.
