With telephones provided in local offices of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam for lodging consumer complaints will not be available with effect from Thursday, the complaints can now be lodged on toll free number 18001804334.
The consumers in the area of the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam can now lodge their complaints by dialling telephone number 18001801550.
The decision has been taken to ensure timely redressal of the complaints, as per standards laid by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission.
A spokesman of the DHBVN said here on Wednesday that consumers can lodge their complaints relating to service, billing, new connection, system improvement, etc, also at toll free number. The call centre has been given instructions to entertain all calls.
The consumers can also lodge their complaints at the computerised grievance redressal system directly by logging on to the web sites www.dhbvn.com orwww.dhbvn.org.in in the area of the DHBVN and www.uhbvn.com in the area of the UHBVN.
