Radhe Maa had arrived at her Dera in Mukerian late Tuesday to participate in an annual function in the memory of her mentor. It was in this town that she had been staying with her in-laws and stitching clothes to earn livelihood before switching to “spiritualism”. Ever since she has arrived in the town, she has kept a distance from local “followers”.

Bindra said she had come to oppose Radhe Maa’s satsang, alleging that is was nothing but a “fraud”. “I had filed a complaint with the Punjab police that in 2014, Radhe Maa had asked me to have sex with one of her followers at the Chandigarh residence of a police officer, but under her pressure, the police did not act. I had to move the court and I am sure that I will get justice,” she said. Bindra alleged that whosoever spoke against Radhe Maa was victimized. “I also used to get threats from her men, but I do not fear them,” she thundered.
Meanwhile, Radhe Maa refused to come out of her dera to talk to the media. One of her supporters conveyed her reluctance.
