During the surprise checking conducted by deputy commissioner Vipul Ujjwal, additional deputy commissioner (ADC) Pararmjeet Singh was found to be late along with ten other employees on Friday morning.

Two employees were on leave without any application.

In a press release, Ujjwal said the chief secretary had ordered a surprise checking at the offices and at 9 am, he sought the attendance registers from all branches and offices.

Apart from ADC Paramjeet Singh, other latecomers included Najar Khosa Ram, Inderjeet Singh (clerk at office of district development panchayat office (DDPO)), Satnam Singh (junior assistant in Suwidha centre ), Prem Kumar (accountant ), Charanjeet Kaur (computer operator ), Bhupinder Kaur (local fund allocator ), Surinder Kumar (clerk), Paramjeet (ADC steno ), Toni Kumar and Jasbir Kumari( another clerk).

All officials who were found to be late/absent will be issued warnings. The DC instructed employees to report on time (9am) and if anyone is found to be violating orders, strict action would be taken.
