HT team noticed one such pole at the middle of link road between Basti Nau and Basti Danish Manda causing hindrance to the flow of traffic.
This pole is also resulting into temporary encroachments on road as the shopkeepers are using the space between poles and their shops for parking.
"This pole is erected in the middle of road and I am surprised why municipal authorities failed to remove them before laying the roads. We had requested to executive engineer as well as counselor Kuldeep Mintu to shift this pole but still there is no action," Aman Gill, a shopkeeper told HT.
