Elect a parliamentarian, who has vision, capability, commitment, dedication and an intension to serve the people. This was stated by Asha Hooda, vice-president of the Haryana Child Welfare Council, while seeking votes for Congress Rohtak Lok Sabha nominee and her son Deepender Singh Hooda.
Highlighting the efforts made by incumbent Rohtak MP, she said, "Even candidates of the opposition parties can't deny the fact that Rohtak had undergone overall development."
She said that before the Hooda government took over in 2005, the condition of roads was pathetic and residents used to face water shortage. "Today Rohtak has become an education hub with institutes like IIM and IIT.
Rohtak legislator BB Batra, who was accompanying Asha, said, "Opposition parties have been playing divisive politics, where as Congress party is focused on constructive developmental."
He said that each Congress worker was a true representative of party candidate Deepender Singh Hooda, and the workers will ensure latter's win.
Mayor Renu Dabla, deputy mayor Ashok Bhati, several councillors, and other prominent local Congress leaders were present during the campaigning on Sunday.
