The family of a 20-year-old girl, who was allegedly kidnapped in Kishanpura locality here on Tuesday, staged a dharna at the local Company Chowk on Wednesday morning.

The family members of the girl raised slogans against the police and demanded immediate rescue of the girl and the arrest of the accused.

However, the police have arrested the accused's brother Mantoo into custody and procured a two-day remand from a local court.
