After initial hiccups, the makers of upcoming biopic ‘Sarbjit’, finally got permission to shoot at the zero line of the Indo-Pak border in Attari sector.

With the permission coming, the movie scenes were shot at the zero line on Saturday and will continue till Sunday only, as the BSF has given them a slot for two days.

Confirming this DIG Border Security Force (BSF) Sumer Singh said, “The makers of the movie had sought permission more than two months ago, but the permission by the Ministry of Home Affairs was being awaited. But as they had applied through us and also direct, the permission has been finally granted for two days.”

"The crew has been briefed and instructions have been given to them. As far as we are told, the scenes to be shot are of Dalbir Kaur which would be inacted by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (who plays Sarabjit’s sister) going to Pakistan. We have given them two days and would ensure that the shooting is not done at the time of the retreat ceremony,” he added.
