A Class-9 student at Guru Nanak Mission Public School, Dalla, Gurindervir, said, “I am very excited as I will be trained in track and field sessions, physical training sessions by worldrenowned coach Sharon Hannan, the Australian athletic team coach at the London Olympics. I must thank my coach Sarwan Singh for grooming me.”
Gurindervir has been selected among the top 10 of Speedstar Season-2 from among 25,000 athletes. Sarwan Singh, a retired commando, is training 48 students of his school in sports.
Sarwan said, “It is a proud moment as he will be heading for two-week intensive training in Australia under Sharon Hannan.
