Former Haryana IAS officer joins AAP

Retired Haryana IAS officer Hukam Singh Rana (66) on Monday joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The former bureaucrat was formally inducted into the party by AAP leader Yogendra Yadav at a party workers meeting held at Badkhali chowk in Nagina in Haryana’s Mewat district. AAP activist Ramzan Chaudhary spoke about Rana before he was presented with the AAP cap by Yadav.

Rana, a former 1988 batch IAS officer was appointed as State Police Complaint Authority (SPCA), Haryana by the Congress government in Haryana. The former IAS officer who is based in Faridabad has decided to jump onto the political bandwagon on expiry of his term as chairman SPCA.

Recently, Haryana IPS officer, Ranbir Sharma and Haryana IAS officer, Abhe Singh Yadav had sought voluntary retirement from the service to enter the electoral field.
