The four-day art exhibition, 'Chitchat', concluded here on Monday, with a footfall of art lovers at Gallery Artmosphere.

As many as 17 painters of different age groups and professions participated in the exhibition.

The exhibition encouraged the artists but none of the paintings were sold. This, however, discouraged the budding artists.

An exhibitor Saru S said, “We were happy with the feedback and remarks. People came and appreciated our artwork, but no one showed interest in buying them.”

She said people in Ludhiana were not ready to pay for genuine art.

Artist Aradhana Single said she was happy with the response. “I exhibited my paintings for the first time and it received a good response from everyone. This boosted my morale and I assure that next time I will come up better artwork,” added Aradhana.

The exhibition had a wide range of paintings, depicting eternal peace, joy, fantasy, music, hope, despair, nature, dreams and creations.
