Four killed in road mishap

Four people were killed, including a rice miller and former vice-president of market committee, Jalalabad, when the SUV he was travelling on hit a motorcycle and then swerved to hit a tree, on Tuesday morning.

Four people were killed, including a rice miller and former vice-president of market committee, Jalalabad, when the SUV he was travelling on hit a motorcycle and then swerved to hit a tree, on Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred near Saide Ke Mohan village on the Jalalabad-Muktsar road.

The motorcycle riders, Manoj and pillion rider Narinder, were killed on the spot. Sukhdev Singh, the Innova driver, also died on the spot.

Subhash Aggarwal succumbed to his injuries at a Muktsar hospital. People from all walks of life attended the cremation of the Aggarwal.
