Free animal treatment camp held at Baddowal

The animal husbandry department organised a free animal treatment camp at Badowal village on Thursday.Animals were treated free of cost, free medicines given, laboratory tests like blood test, feacal test, urine test, milk test and CST were also done free of cost. Veterinary doctors Dr Deepak Jhangra, Dr Parminder Kaur, Dr Vikram Mahindra, Dr Reena Wahi, Dr Chetan Gupta, along with veterinary inspectors and other employees conducted the camp. Dr Deepak Jhangra explained about various schemes of department like subsidy on goats and pigs.

Organising secretary Dr Harbans Singh Dhalla told about control of rabies disease. If residents come forward, we can control rabies with regular mass anti-rabies vaccination annually for all dogs in small localities, he added.
