Free artificial limbs distributed

Bharat Vikas Parishad Charitable Trust organised a free artificial limbs distribution camp at Viklang Sahayta Kender, Rishi Nagar, on Sunday.

Artificial limbs, tricycles, wheel chairs, calipers, crutches and hearing aids were given to 52 physically disabled people during the camp.

The camp was sponsored by Balraj Chopra, Rajesh Chopra and family in memory of their parents. Balraj appreciated the work of Bharat Vikas Parishad and assured to support efforts of the trust in future also.

Finance secretary of the trust Ajay Sharma thanked Chopra family for their good gesture.

He said that artificial limbs, calipers, tricycle, wheel chairs have been provided to more than 41,000 physically handicapped persons so far by trust.

Pooja Chopra, Sumir Thapar, Dr Kuldip, Neelam Gupta and RP Gupta were also present on this occasion.
