GCG students hold rally on 'Swachh College Mission'

Environment society of Government College for Girls, Ludhiana along with volunteers of Red Cross Society organised a function and rally on 'Swachh College Mission'.

They also visited a school for the underprivileged children on the occasion of 125thbirth anniversary of Jawahar Lal Nehru.

Principal Gurminder Kaur was the chief guest and presided over the rally on the college campus. She congratulated the students and encouraged them to keep their surroundings clean and green in the society.

She also encouraged them to take an initiative and addressed them about the team work and its role in bringing good results.

Kaur also appreciated the efforts of teachers and volunteers of the Red Cross Unit for doing a such noble task. Kiranjit Brar, incharge of College Red Cross Unit, encouraged the students to contribute their mite by helping the poor and needy.

Rosy Nagpal also accompanied the students. The students distributed sweets and eatables and clothes to the childrens.
