The administration has allotted government land to Bathinda Press Club (BPC) to carry out its activities.

Harjinder Singh Sidhu, assistant media adviser to deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, said the club members had recently urged both the deputy chief minister and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia to allocate appropriate space to the newly-formed press club.

Sidhu informed that on the recommendation of Badal and Majithia, deputy commissioner Basant Garg had given land and assured all possible help.

BPC members thanked Sukhbir Badal, Majithia and Jangveer Singh, media advisor to Sukhbir Badal, for their help.
