The district health department has planned a three-day special pulse polio programme to administer polio vaccine to 0-5 years of as many as 7,572 migrant children.
The district health department has planned a three-day special pulse polio programme to administer polio vaccine to 0-5 years of as many as 7,572 migrant children.
Under the programme, various pulse polio teams will visit huts, ‘jhuggis’, ‘havelis’ brick kilns, ‘deras of Gujjars’ and other construction sites in the district from April 26 to 28 to administer polio vaccine to the children.

Civil surgeon Dr Rajneesh Sood said here on Friday that 61 mobile teams would be pressed into service under 23 supervisors to make the programme a success.
