The executive committee of Jat Sabha, Chandigarh/Panchkula has criticised BJP MP from Kurukshetra Raj Kumar Saini for his "hateful and indifferent" remarks over reservation for Jats under the OBC category and decided to boycott his public meetings and field visits.

In a statement issued here, the Jat Sabha alleged that Saini was spreading communal hatred by his "irresponsible and
politically-motivated statements about Jats which were prejudicial to the maintenance of national integrity, internal peace, fraternity and brotherhood".

Jat Sabha chairman MS Malik said, "It is unfortunate that a MP in whose constituency there are more than 3.50 lakh Jats is indulging in malicious propaganda due to his vested interests".

The committee decided to make a complaint to the Prime Minister and the BJP high command against Saini, seeking disciplinary action against him for his "communal and caste-based statements".
