Hisar Bar Association has decided to not to give legal help to Rampal and his 900 followers who are lodged in jails. The decision was taken in a meeting held here on Wednesday.

Secretary of the association Amit Saini said the followers of Rampal misbehaved with lawyers on July 14, 2014 during a hearing of Rampal in the court.

Santosh Chetal, a senior lawyer and former president of the association, said, "Morally, we will not fight cases of Rampal as we had filed appeal against him in the high court on the basis of which the court had issued contempt of court notice to him for not complying the court orders.

The unanimous decision of the Hisar Bar Association has created a big trouble for Rampal and his followers because it would be very costly and very difficult to engage lawyers for such a large number of cases and people from outside.
