A small quarrel on the issue of peeing in the public turned ugly on Holi festival in Nurpur when Vishawajeet (22), a resident of Aman Nagar succumbed in the private hospital on Wednesday and a murder case has been registered against three persons in Maqsudan police station.

As per the first information report (FIR), Sant Lal, deceased’s father told police that Vishwajeet along with his two friends Shankar of Kailash Nagar and Mintu of Shankar Garden had gone to play holi with other friends at Raju Chicken Corner near Nurpur on March 23.

Lal told that his son had gone outside the chicken shop for urinating at where Harmesh Lal of Banchit Nagar along with his son and friend Charanjeet arrived and they all started exchanging arguments.

He alleged that accused attacked his son with an iron rod in which he sustained serious injuries and taken to private hospitals and died on Wednesday morning.

On the other hand, Harmesh had also lodged a case against Vishwajeet after the quarrel on March 23 and cross case was registered.

Earlier, Harmesh and two others were booked under sections 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 308(Attempt to commit culpable homicide) of IPC registered at Maqsudan police station and on Wednesday, murder sections added in the case.
