After a hectic poll campaigning schedule that lasted for more than two weeks, chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday rejoined his buddies at the Officers Service Club to play badminton.

In a friendly match, he defeated Rohtak MLA BB Batra. Later, he spent some time at his local residence in Model Town here and left for Delhi after noon. Batra, who was also campaigning for chief minister’s son Deepender Singh Hooda in Rohtak town for the last over 20 days, spent time meeting party workers at his office.

Aam Aadmi Party nominee Naveen Jaihind spent the day socialising with the party workers.

Addressing a press conference at party’s office, he said that there had been bogus voting at several polling booths and he had lodged a formal complaint regarding the same.

Revealing his next course of action, he said that the Rohtak unit of party workers would leave for Varanasi and Amethi to work respectively for Arvind Kejriwal and Kumar Vishwas there.

He said that they had started preparations for assembly polls due late this year.

BJP’s Rohtak candidate Om Prakash Dhankar said that he woke up three hours late on Friday and after that met party workers to take the feedback of Thursday’s polling.

INLD nominee Shamsher Kharkhada spent first half of the day attending to the visitors at his house and was planning to tour different villages in the evening to express gratitude to them for their support.

BHIWANI CANDIDATES SPEND TIME AT HOME

Congress candidate from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh seat Shruti Choudhry spent her time resting at her Bhiwani house, while her mother and state excise minister Kiran Choudhry attended to the party workers.

BJP nominee Dharambir Singh spent his time with his wife and children at Bhiwani. He also met his supporters.
