Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar has said his party had chalked out protests at block, district and state levels against the Centre's land acquisition ordinance before the upcoming budget session of the Parliament.
Interacting with mediapersons here on Saturday, Tanwar termed the ordinance an NDA government's move against the interests of farmers and said senior party leaders would also participate in the agitation and would submit memorandum to sub-divisional magistrates at block-level, deputy commissioners at district-level and the governor at the state level.
Tanwar added that about 10-member panel would also be formed by the Congress to monitor the agitations.
Stating that the party's state unit would be revived and various steps would be taken to strengthen it, he said recently, Congress national vice-president Rahul Gandhi also held a meeting of the senior leaders from across the country and asked them for the same.
"We will hold meetings with state -level office holders later this month and block-level office holders in February," he added.
