Human remains, bloodstained clothes found near Rahon

Panic gripped Garhi Fatehkha village in Rahon town on Thursday morning , after villagers found human skeleton, skulls and bones near a factory in the village.

Sarpanch of the village, Dhanna Ram, informed the local police about the discovery after which a team led by station house officer (SHO) Sanjiv Kapoor reached the spot and initiated the probe.

The cops recovered bloodstained clothes including shirt, a pair of shoes, socks and jacket from nearby fields.

The remains have been taken into custody while the information about clothes has been circulated among all police stations with the pictures in the state.

A case under various sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender) and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC has been registered against unknown persons at Rahon police station.
