Independence Day fever spread across city

The Independence Day fever can be seen across the city with people dressed up in the colour of patriotism. People can be seen wearing tricolor dresses and accessories.

Not only this, the residents are seen preparing the food items like idli, sandwiches, muffins and pasta, in tricolor. They said that this was a small gesture of showing their love and affection towards the motherland.

Sheeba Batta, a resident of Kitchlu Nagar said, "I wait for this day, as I love dressing up in orange, white and green. This is my way of showing my patriotic feelings towards the nation."
Lizdie, a resident of Habowal said, "I made some sweets and dishes in tricolor for our colony people to celebrate the Independence Day. I also reminded them to remember the martyr, who sacrificed their lives for our country."

Rajuta Jain, a bakery owner said, "I prepared several items in tricolor, including muffins, cakes and pastries, which were relished by the customers."
Manpreet Singh of Chandigarh Road said, "On the eve of Independence, I wore a tricolor cap and bracelet to mark this day."
