Industrialists declare some compensation

The Jalandhar Industrial Focal Point Extension Association along with other industrial associations have collectively decided to give Rs 1 lakh to the family of each deceased worker and Rs 50,000 to each worker who lost his limb in the building collapse.

The Jalandhar Industrial Focal Point Extension Association along with other industrial associations have collectively decided to give Rs 1 lakh to the family of each deceased worker and Rs 50,000 to each worker who lost his limb in the building collapse.

The industrialists would also give Rs 10,000 to each injured worker. Narinder Singh Saggu, the president of Jalandhar Industrial Focal Point Extension, that industrialists have set up a relief centre at the Focal Point and at the civil hospital to help and guide the victims and their families.

They would provide information to the workers along with food. Other industrialists incuding Sharad Aggarwal, Purnima Berri, Tejinder Singh Bhasin and Gursharan Singh were also present.
