Hisar: The Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) would contest the assembly elections on all the 90 seats in Haryana on its own, MP Dushyant Chautala said at Adampur on Tuesday.
Addressing mediapersons, he said, “We have already launched the election campaign in the state. The future of the alliance between the Haryana Janhit Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party does not matter to us.”
Dushyant Chautala is touring the Adampur constituency to thank people for their vote and support in the Lok Sabha elections.
He said, “The people of the state have made up their mind to install the Indian National Lok Dal government after the next assembly elections. The new membership drive launched by the party has received very good response and so far we have enrolled 4.5 lakh new members and by the time of polling the number would cross 15 lakh.”
“The party workers are now engaged in enlisting new voters who have attained 18 years of age and also deleting bogus votes, which do not exist anymore,” he added.
Dushyant Chautala said, “As already announced by Indian National Lok Dal supremo Om Prakash Chautala that youths will get priority in tickets allotment for the assembly elections, the party will go by his announcement.”
Commenting on the decision of the state government over regularisation of services of temporary employees, the Hisar MP said, “It is sheer violation of the apex court verdict on the issue and is merely an election stunt.”
