People in Shimla and its nearby tourist spots in Himachal were greeted by sunny weather Wednesday morning, though the minimum temperature was recorded at 2 degrees Celsius.
The meteorological office said the minimum temperature was higher than Tuesday's 0.7 degree due to lack of snow.
The snowy landscape in Shimla and nearby destinations will remain like this till the weekend, the Met office added.
Keylong in the state's Lahaul-Spiti district was the coldest place, recording a low of 12.1 degrees below freezing.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district recorded a low of minus 3.8 degrees Celsius, while it was minus 4.8 degrees Celsius in Manali.
Dharamsala, headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile, registered 4 degrees.
According to the weather office, the weather will mainly remain clear in the state till Saturday.
