Former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar, who recently extended his unconditional support to the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, has welcomed Navjot Singh Sidhu’s decision to not float a political party , saying this will consolidate the votes against the ruling Akali-BJP combine and the Congress.

“I welcome this decision made by my brothers Navjot Sidhu, Pargat Singh and Bains Brothers; we must all work together to save Punjab from the vicious circle of alternate Akali, Congress rule,” the former Congress leader who was expelled by the party, said in a statement here on Wednesday.
