Jagmeet Brar holds first meeting with volunteers in Jalandhar

Expelled congress leader and former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar on Sunday, held first meeting with volunteers of his movement ‘Pehlan Punjab Lokhit Abhiyan’ and announced 19 districts coordinators to carry out the door to door survey with their teams.

As part of the ‘Pehlan Punjab Abhiyan’ , Brar had announced to conduct four meetings in the Punjab to start the mass campaign over 10 point agenda in the Punjab during a rally at Chapar Chiri on May 21.

Motivating the people to join his movement, former MP also launched a mobile number +91-9056775555. He asked the coordinators and delegates to visit villages and towns in the state till August 15 to connect the people.

While on the issue of drugs menace in the state, Brar said drugs needed national attention because the drug mafia was selling more than Rs 20 crore worth of drugs daily in state.

He said that teams would aware people about the major problems of state and to get a solution of it after visiting at the village level in next two months.

Speaking with media persons Brar said that he refused to float new political outfit in the Punjab and claimed his movement will not spread negativity but would solve the problems.

He also took on Capt Amarinder Singh and his family over alleged foreign accounts and he had robbed the entire Punjab. He alleged that Capt himself is giving clean chit however the investigation agencies are still conducting the probe.
