Jagraon registers win over Raikot in District School Games

On the first day of a three-day District School Basketball Championship underway at Punjab Basketball Academy's indoor courts, Guru Nanak Dev Stadium, Jagraon zone drubbed Raikot with an emphatic 16-0 in under-14 (girls) basketball match on Tuesday.

A total of seven matches were played on day one. The semi-finals of the three-day long championship will be played on Wednesday.

Leaving no stone unturned to showcase their talent, speed and accuracy, Jagraon girls outsmarted its opponents throughout all four quarters of the game, showering two and three pointers one after the other.
In the next match of the day, Ludhiana played a brilliant game against Khanna defeating them by 10-2 points in under-14 age group.

Next match of the day was played between Sahnewal and PAU zone, which was won by former by 14-12.
In under-17 age group, Ludhiana trounced Jagraon zone by 12-8 points while PAU zone beat Khanna by 22-4 points.

In another match played between Sahnewal and Khanna in the under-19 age group, Sanehwal won it by 14-2 points. In the next match of the same age group, Ludhiana defeated PAU zone by 15-12 points.
