Jakhar to take over as Punjab Congress president on Wednesday

Veteran Punjab Congress leader Sunil Jakhar will formally take over as president of the Punjab Committee (PPCC) on Wednesday.

Chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh will be among who will attend the event, scheduled for 10.30am at the Congress Bhawan here, according to a party spokesperson.

AICC general secretary in-charge of Punjab Asha Kumari and co-incharge Harish Chaudhary will also be present on the occasion.
