39,000 cases pending in Jalandhar courts

In the district, 39,092 cases are pending, suggests the updated information on the district courts website. Of the cases, 613 are pending in the court of district and sessions judge RS Attri; 10,522 in 11 appeal courts; 30,370 in subordinate courts; 3,141 in the court of civil judge (junior) division and judicial magistrate (first class) Mamta Kakkar; 3,986 in the two subordinate courts at Nakodar; and 4,736 in the three subordinate courts at Phillaur. The pending summary cases are 7,752.
