Additional deputy commissioner (development) Kumar Amrit on Monday visited Nurmahal to inspect the site for a co-educational government senior secondary school.

Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA), which had received the construction assignment from the chief minister, had earlier rejected the site, and now the ADC wants a report in writing for a decision on Wednesday. The Nakodar MLA and prominent citizen of the town had selected this 14-kanal-17 marla site on Mandi Road.
