The school education department of city has decided to introduce common admission form from coming academic session so as to streamline enrollment process across the state.

Informing this here today Kahan Singh Pannu, director general school education (DGSE) informed that now the admissions to all the government schools across the state would be done through this common admission form.

There was no common admission form for students so we decided to introduce this, said Pannu adding that students from class I to XII will get admissions moving forward by filling up this form.

He further said that this would also help in connecting to our state schools portal system in order to classify the students.

The form would include basic information including the saving bank account details of a parent so as to transfer scholarships directly into their bank accounts.
