Five SAD (A) workers detained for distributing literature, released

The police detained five workers of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) for distributing pamphlets among the attending NRIs at Bath Castle here on Saturday.  The workers were identified as Rajinder Singh, a resident of Phagwara, Surjit Singh, a resident of Daroli Kalan, Gurmeet Singh of Paragpur, Manjit Singh of Reru and Jarnail Singh of Jalandhar.

They were distributing pamphlets carrying appeals to attending NRIs to take on the Badals for different types of atrocities on Sikhs. "All those detained were released after the function was over," SHO Sadar Onkar Singh Brar said.
