After finding reason behind strife-torn Iraq tragedy wherein Punjabis were stuck, the NRI Sabha has took up an initiate to motivate and educate students in the rural areas about the career oriented courses which they could choose after class 10 and 12.
Jasvir Singh Gill, president, NRI Sabha said, "The main thing found in the youth who returned from Iraq was that they had lack of education of reaching on how to reach legally. They all were of the opinion that they being from the rural area don't have knowledge of what to pursue after class 10".
In this regard, the NRI has launched career calendar for the government school students wherein the information to courses from all the fields after class 10 and 12 are mentioned from which students could get information.
"We have mentioned basic things like which courses they could opt which career prospect. Basically it has been made as an eye opener for the students", Gill added.
The distribution of calendars would start in all the district government primary and secondary schools in a week while the Sabha would also distribute the same in all the regions of the state.
