RCF honours 119 employees on 58th Railway week celebrations

Services of 119 employees with Rail Coach Factory (RCF) were recognised and awarded by the management during celebrations of 58th Railway Week, organised on Friday.


RCF general manager BN Rajsekhar felicitated these employees for their services in respective fields by presenting a shield and a citation to each employee. 52 other employees were honoured with group awards.

Rajsekhar said, "The year 2012-13 has been a significant year for RCF. It is a matter of great pride that we have been awarded with Best Production Unit shield for outstanding work performance, jointly with DLW Varanasi."

"All the achievements of RCF are only because of the relentless hard work of the employees. We feel honoured to recognise the services of our workers," he added.

Two ex-officers of RCF, S N Mathur, who retired as general manager of Integral Coach Factory and VD Chadda, who retired as advisor/planning, Railway Board were also present on this occasion and both shared their experiences with the audience at the time of setting up of RCF 25 years back.

The function concluded with a colourful cultural programme.
