Revenue and public relations minister Bikram Singh Majithia on Friday said that photos of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi would never be exhibited officially in the SAD-BJP rule.

Hitting back at the Congress leaders who are pressing for the removal of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal's photos from the centrally sponsored 108 ambulances, Majithia said that Congress leaders who were responsible for Sikh genocide would neither be pardoned nor glorified.

He charged local MP and minister of state for health, Santosh Chowdhary, with playing “political gimmicks” rather than bringing any substantial project to the state.

'Cong to move SC for CBI probe in drug charges against Majithia'

Notwithstanding the 'sympathy' shown by some senior party leaders with revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia over the drug racket allegations against him, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Partap Singh Bajwa said the state party unit would move the Supreme Court (SC) demanding a CBI probe to ascertain Majithia's role.
