Two pickpockets arrested

Government Railway Police (GRP) on Saturday arrested two pickpockets and recovered Rs. 35,000 cash and mobile phones from their possession.


Accused Manjit Singh was arrested from the city railway station while Tejinder Singh was arrested from Ludhiana railway station, GRP sources said.

During preliminary interrogation, the accused admitted their involvement in several cases of theft. Cash worth Rs. 35,000 and mobiles worth Rs. 1.25 lakh were also recovered from them, sources said.
