The court of additional district and sessions judge Gurnam Singh dismissed bail application of Nathpal Dhilwan, who was booked in the Vicky murder case in August this year, on Tuesday.

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) activist Dhilwan was behind bars after a scuffle that took place between him and Vicky on August 16 after which Vicky died.

A case was registered against Nathpal and his son. His son was released after a few days by the police.

The BSP recently blocked national highway, alleging that Nathpal was framed into a false case at the behest of Akali councilor and the party had also raised Nathpal's case in Rajya Sabha.

Dhilwan, who was a Dalit, was murdered on August 16. The BSP has alleged that the police was not ready to investigate the role of the driver of Akali councillor even after the complaint of the family members of Vicky.
