190 kgs of banned medicinal herb seized; 3 arrested

Three alleged smugglers were today arrested with 190 kgs of banned medicinal herb in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
A vehicle was intercepted at Danda Bhalla in Doda and 190 kgs of 'Nagchattri' was recovered from it, a police spokesman said.
Three persons travelling in the vehicle--Talib Hussain and Bashir Mohd of Punjab, and Lal Hussain of Himachal Pradesh--were arrested from the spot, he said.
Police have registered a case against all the three accused, the spokesperson added.
