Cloudburst washes away 100 mts of road in Doda

A stretch of 100 metres of road was washed away in a cloudburst in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here on Monday.


Thirteen people travelling in a matador had a narrow escape as the cloudburst occurred on Doda-Bagwa road last evening, they said.

Nearly 100 metres of road was washed away in the cloudburst, the officials said.

Road traffic in several villages was also disrupted, they said, adding several cattle heads also perished in the cloudburst.
