Janmashtami was celebrated at Childhood Kindergarten, Punjab Mata Nagar, on Tuesday.

Tiny tots enacted childhood scenes of lord Krishna, while teachers along with kids, sang aarti and bhajans. Importance of the festival was also explained to the students.

Playing flute, having a bowl of butter and sharing laughter with friends, the fun-clad event consisted of several entertaining competitions and games that apparently showered innumerable gifts over the kids who were beautifully dressed as lord Krishna and Radha.

Apart from this, balancing a pot on head and a few other challenging contests were also held. Student with best smile, best traditional jewellery, best dress and best hair style were awarded.
