Jatt-Airways director Harjit Singh Ricky along with the star cast revealed this while addressing media persons here on Monday.
The movie, produced by Vision India Productions Pvt Ltd, is scheduled for a release on August 30.
"As Punjabi cinema is not in condition to experiment, most of the production houses are focusing on comedy, which is paying rich dividends if nicely fabricated. Our film too, would provide a nice dose of laughter to the people," he said adding that, "It is a story of two brothers who wish to marry in a family having two daughters. The sequences and situations will surely provide real laughter to the audiences."
On a promotion tour to the city film star cast, comprising of Punjabi singer and protagonist Alfaaz, leading heroine Tulip Joshi, Padam Bhola and Samriti Khanna earlier addressed the media-persons and later visited campuses of PCMSD College for women and Lovely Professional University.
"It is hear-touching to see people already so excited about the movie. It is a great feeling as Punjabi industry is slowly and steadily catching up with Bollywood. We are sure that the audience will love our movie, which is not just another comedy film but a romantic comedy that audiences will surely enjoy," said Alfaaz.
Overwhelmed with the response of the city people, Tulip Joshi said: "Do watch the movie when it releases this 30th. I have my fingers crossed and am sure that this movie will be the 'it moment' for me in this ever-growing industry."
After a successful campaign over the internet, the star cast will undertake a whirlwind promotional tour in major cities of North India including Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana, Baddi, Moga among others, Ricky revealed.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, Jassi Katiyala and Tarun Rishi have given the music of the movie, while the lyrics have been penned down by lead actor Alfaaz and Kumaar.
