Four residents of Delhi, who were out on new year celebrations on Wednesday night, were found charred in their car at Issrehedia village near Bahadurgarh town of Jhajjar district on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as Manish (28),Sandeep (34), Deepak (32) and Sudhir (19), all natives of Mitrav village near Najafgarh town of New Delhi.
Jhajjar superintendent of police (SP) Rajesh Duggal said that the victims had left their homes on Wednesday night in a car to celebrate new year but their bodies were spotted by a resident of Bahadurgarh on Thursday morning. He said that the police learnt about the identity of the deceased by the registration number of the car as a team of cops reached their homes to inform their families. The bodies were sent to Bahadurgarh civil hospital for postmortem.
Talking to mediapersons at his office, Duggal said that the kin of the deceased had got a case registered at Haridass Nagar police station in Delhi. "Their families have named some persons who may have got the victims killed owing to an old enmity," he said.
