Kejriwal attends cremation of Kanwar Sandhu’s son

Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, several political leaders and other prominent figures attended the cremation of Karan Sandhu, son of veteran journalist and party leader Kanwar Sandhu at the Sector 25 cremation ground on Wednesday evening. Karan died of cardiac arrest at PGI earlier in the day.

Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, several political leaders and other prominent figures attended the cremation of Karan Sandhu, son of veteran journalist and party leader Kanwar Sandhu at the Sector 25 cremation ground on Wednesday evening. Karan died of cardiac arrest at PGI earlier in the day.

Kejriwal laid a wreath on the body on behalf of his government and the party.

Among others who attended the cremation were Punjab minister Sikander Singh Maluka, senior AAP leaders Sanjay Singh, Bhagwant Mann, Gupreet Singh Ghuggi and Himmat Singh Shergill. Jagmohan Kang of Congress and Ranjeet Gill of Shiromani Akali Dal who had contested against Sandhu in the recently held assembly elections from Kharar also attended the cremation.

AAP leaders HS Phoolka, Aman Arora, Harjot Bains, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Karan Tiwana, Dr Balbir Singh, Capt Bikramjit Singh, Capt GS Kang, Dr Charanjit Singh, Dr Ravjot Singh, Daljit Singh Sadarpura, Jagtar Singh Sanghera and Narinder Singh Shergill also visited the bereaved family.

Several serving and retired bureaucrats, lawyers, mediapersons and other prominent persons from various walks of life came to share the grief of the bereaved family.
