With no electoral agenda in Punjab and a dismal track record in Delhi to back, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal is resorting to desperate gimmicks to remain in the public eye ahead of the assembly elections, state Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh said on Saturday.

Dismissing as ludicrous and nonsensical the AAP leader’s charges of seat-sharing arrangement between the Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in Punjab, Amarinder said Kejriwal’s frustration is showing in his senseless banter.

The Punjab Congress chief cited Kejriwal’s tweet announcing the onset of winter in Delhi to underline the extent of his imbecility. The AAP convener has been much trolled on his winter tweet, with the Twitterati thanking him for informing Delhi of winter’s arrival.

It is clear that faced with widespread revolts from within his party and imminent wipe out in the forthcoming assembly polls in Punjab, Kejriwal has lost his mind, said Amarinder, adding that the AAP leader only sees conspiracies and persecution threats around him. The seat-sharing rhetoric is just another in the long line of conspiracy theories that Kejriwal has been touting ever since he stepped foot in Punjab with an eye on the elections.
