As the Punjab poll campaign gathers heat, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal is headed for a 12-day meditation camp near McLeodganj, 6km from Dharamshala, in Himachal Pradesh from August 1. AAP’s national organisation-building team head Durgesh Pathak, who is steering the Punjab poll preparations, confirmed the trip and will be accompanying the Delhi chief minister for the Vipassana centre retreat.

A senior Punjab AAP core team member said it was a recharge trip ahead as the poll campaign gets more taxing in the coming months. Punjab assembly polls are due early next year, in hardly six months now.
