Demonstrating their love for their teacher, around 30 students of Lyallpur Khalsa Collegiate School held a protest against the management for transferring their favourite teacher from their school.
The management has shifted Navdeep Singh, the business and economics teacher of class 11 and 12, to Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women.

A student of class 11 on the condition of anonymity said, "The management has shifted our teacher in the middle of the session. We had a good bonding with him and he taught us in a way nobody can match."
The other students said they were not able to cope up with the new teacher's style of explaining. "We have our examinations in the second week of September. We are not clear about all the topics yet. We will not be able to prepare for our examinations if our teacher is changed".

The students said they wanted their teacher back as they were facing difficulties in their studies and added that Singh had been transferred without any reason.

Meanwhile, the principal of the college GS Samra said the transfer was the decision of the management. "We will take up the matter when the president of the group, Balbir Kaur, returns as she is out of town for three days."
