Khattar asks farmers in Haryana to adopt latest techniques

Appealing farmers to adopt latest techniques in agriculture, Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Sunday appreciated the efforts of the peasants in the state to increase agricultural produce.

Addressing a gathering at Manola village in Sonepat district, the chief minister assured full support to farmers for modernisation of the farming.

He said that the farmers of the state were adopting latest techniques to increase their income and the government was ready to provide all help to such farmers.

He also announced to develop agriculture tourism in Manola village to showcase the efforts of the farmers of this village, who has increased their produce and income manifolds by adopting modern farming.

The chief minister said, “Progress of farmers will bring development in the state”.

Reacting to villagers’ demand for setting up a women’s government college, the chief minister said that the government was willing to open a college in the region if they provided land and the college would be made operational by the next academic year.
